The short answer is YES!
The long answer is: When you’re ready to wash the cover (probably more often than the actual pillow) just strip PUFF’s case off and throw it in the machine. Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle and use only non-chlorine bleach when needed. When that’s done, tumble dry in low heat. Please wash and dry separately from other items to prevent damage to the cover.
Your Pluto PUFF itself is also indeed machine washable! With proper care, your PUFF should bring superior sleep for a long time to come. To wash, place your PUFF in the washing machine and set to a delicate cycle with warm water and use half the recommended detergent. We recommend washing another pillow at the same time to maintain the machine's balance. It's also good to be sure that the pillows are thoroughly wet before the cycle starts! Tumble dry the PUFF on low heat (cool down or permanent press is best!). It may take a little extra time to fully dry, but trust us, it's worth the wait for renewed plushness!
We recommend washing the PUFF every 2-3 months, or whenever you feel it needs a refresh. In the meantime, regular maintenance like manual fluffing or a trip to the dryer with some tennis balls can help prolong its life and keep it plush and supportive for a long time to come.
We want to say “starshine,” but we’ll just tell you the truth. PUFF’s machine-washable, quilted cover is made from a 51% polyethylene with cotton mix. Unzip this optional cover, and PUFF’s inner surface is a breathable 300 thread count cotton.

We definitely highly recommend it! Although your PUFF comes with a cover (see next question below), this further protects the entire body pillow. Any standard body pillowcase should fit the PUFF (until ours launches 😉), so go crazy and find a surface you like best! P.S. The quilted cover is also removable if you prefer the smooth 300 TC cotton cover feel.
