Never fear, custom Pluto Pillows, the PUFF body pillow, and the POD are all washable! Read on for details
Custom Pillow
To wash: remove the cover from the foam (don’t wash the foam!)* and throw it in the wash. Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle and use only non-chlorine bleach when needed. When that’s done, tumble dry in low heat. Please wash and dry separately from other items to prevent damage to the cover. We recommend doing this every 2-3 months or whenever you feel like your pillow needs a boost.
In between, you can fluff the pillow every few days to help maintain its structure. To do this, lay the pillow down, and grab it on both the left and right sides of the pillow. Lift it up, and quickly compress and decompress the pillow. Next, give your pillow a good couple of punches, kneads, and smacks. This helps break up the materials and allows better airflow and overall fluffiness. It will be really tempting to flap the outer pillow like a sheet, but resist the urge! Doing this will cause the fill material to migrate to the far side.
*Seriously, don’t:
PUFF Body Pillow
Place your PUFF in the washing machine and set to a delicate cycle with warm water and use half the recommended detergent. We recommend washing another pillow at the same time to maintain the machine's balance. It's also good to be sure that the pillows are thoroughly wet before the cycle starts! Tumble dry the PUFF on low heat (cool down or permanent press is best!). It may take a little extra time to fully dry, but trust us, it's worth the wait for renewed plushness!
POD
To wash the POD: Carefully unzip the neck support cushion and remove the foam (the foam will disintegrate in the wash!). Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle without other articles to prevent damage. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. When that's done, air dry flat and place the support foam back inside the cover.
